Grevena is the "Mushrooom Kingdom" of Greece, and is also the site of athe mytho-poetic Geopark Grevena-Kozani...I was invited by famous TV presenter Yanna Darilis, who is a wellness expert, currently making a documentary about the place...
Little did I know that this magical place would heal and transform me forever... Was it the mushrooms? Was it the kindest, most welcoming people? Was it the waterfalls, the pinetrees, the temples or the traditional Greek music that pierced my soul? I'll never know...but I fell in love with the place and its people for good... Alot of you may be seeking a "magical mushroom experience" but you cannot separtate the mushrooms from the magic of the landscape and the people, who are decendants of Alexander the Great.
