Alkistis Agio is a TEDx speaker, coach, author, wellness TV host, philosopher, and leadership trainer. With over twenty years experience in working with professionals to transform fear into freedom, she applies her own system, "The ALKISTIS Method®”, as explained in her book FROM FEAR TO FREEDOM (Amazon)
Of Greek origin, she grew up in Montreal and has worked in Italy, France, Germany, Greece, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. She speaks five languages.
Alkistis first studied International Banking at the Chartered Institute of Bankers in London and worked in corporate finance (Barclays) and later transitioned to her second career, by earning a Master’s in Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a Doctor of Philosophy, specialising in Transpersonal Psychology. She has studied neurocoaching and has served as a trainer for the Dale Carnegie System (High-Impact Presentation Skills, Art of Persuasion, Leadership etc) for several years before developing her own method, based on Greek Philosophy.
Her clients include some of the largest companies where she has trained professionals all over the world, in person and via online courses to transition from anxiety and anger to calm, confident self-leadership: "Real freedom is inner freedom" she says.
In 2020, she organised a historic event in Athens, 'STOICON', the international conference of Modern Stoics, which was written about in The Sunday Times and Washington Post.
