When you watch the news, do you believe it?
Opioids. ISIS. Unemployment rises. Upcoming viruses. Middle age crisis theories. The list goes on. Our mind is constantly processing experiences, information and news and coming up with conclusions about ourselves, others, the world, the Universe.
But, is any of all this true? Actually, it does not matter.
What matters, is what effect it has upon you.
Socrates the Greek philosopher said "The unexamined life is not worth living". I think he meant 'the unexamined mind' of course...
